Message from your Chamber

Greetings from your Chamber! We’ve reached the halfway point of 2018 and for most Australian business it’s happy EOFY!

In this edition of e-Advance our Industry Focus is on “Hospitality and Tourism”, as we welcome articles on the shaping and development of this sector.

In line with our Industry Focus, we are holding a Member Briefing prior to our July Sundowners, where we are honoured to have the founder of the Minor Group, Mr William Heinecke, H.E. Mr. Paul Robilliard, the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Khun Kalin Sarasin, Chairman of Board of Trade of Thailand & Thai Chamber of Commerce, as our guest speakers on Tourism Development in Thailand. An event not to be missed, especially for those in the Hospitality and Tourism sector.

We had an active month in June and you can catch up on all the news in our Chamber Business news section.

While not slowing down in July, we have both Bangkok and Eastern Seaboard Sundowners, a special lunch with Dr Luxmon Attapich – Deputy Secretary General, - from the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO), and the annual Australian Alumni Awards.

Finally, we welcome 11 new members to AustCham, and we look forward to them becoming an active part of the Chamber.

Wishing you a successful July ahead!"

Brendan Cunningham
