Bangkok Patana School is Thailand's original British International school. Founded in 1957, the school is located on Lasalle Road in Southeast Bangkok. It provides learning from Foundation Stage through to Senior Studies, for students aged 2-18 years. The school offers a British-style education in an international context and currently welcomes over 2,200 students from more than 65 nations around the world. Australian and New Zealand students represent approximately 10% of the school enrolment.
The school has a proud record of academic achievement, as well as excellence in music and the performing arts, sports and other extra-curricular activities. The school follows a British curriculum, where Secondary students take IGCSE / GCSE examinations at age 16. Senior Studies students progress to take the International Baccalaureate / Patana Graduate Diploma at 18. Each year graduates from the school go on to attend leading universities in Australia and across the world.
