Joint Chambers Luncheon with new TAT Governer, Khun Yuthasak Supasorn - Monday 9 November 2015
AustCham in collaboration with AMCHAM, BCCT and NTCC cordially invites you to a Special Luncheon with new TAT Governor Khun Yuthasak Supasorn

Topic:
TAT Moving Forward and What it can do for Thailand

Guest speaker: Khun Yuthasak Supasorn, Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor (Click here to see speaker's profile)

Overview:

The Tourism Authority of Thailand recently appointed Khun Yuthasak Supasorn as its new governor. Khun Yuthasak, 49, replaces Khun Thawatchai Arunyik who recently completed his term of office. He was previously the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Thailand’s MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), and is the first Governor to TAT to be appointed from out with the Industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Khun Yuthasak said, “I’m very honoured to have been selected to this very important post. Thailand has excellent tourism products and services and TAT itself is staffed by very capable people who have done a great job in helping to make tourism one of the main pillars of Thailand’s economy.” Khun Yuthasak said he planned to introduce three immediate strategies upon taking the Governor post at the TAT, including reassuring global confidence and stimulating domestic tourism in the wake of the recent tragic incident in Bangkok, as well as creating a better TAT.

The BCCT is delighted to welcome Khun Yuthasak to speak to its members at this early opportunity in his new role as Governor so he can explain both his new strategies and indeed what this will do for Thailand under his leadership and direction.
