ROSEWOOD BANGKOK UNVEILS NEW AFTERNOON TEA FOR THE NEW YEAR

Lakorn European Brasserie at Rosewood Bangkok debuts an all-new signature degustation afternoon tea created by Executive Pastry Chef Florian Couteau.  Available from 2:30 to 5 p.m. daily, the tea is THB950 per person, excluding tax and service charge.

Inspired by European flavors, the new six-course afternoon tea delivers an English classic tea with a French flair. The indulgent journey starts with a savory amuse bouche, multi-color corn soup, and assortment of sandwiches including mushroom quiche, prawn roll, Iberico ham and salmon bagel.

Chef Florian’s signature sweet bites that follow include vanilla cheesecake, coffee tartlet, lemon finger and puff choux. The signature dessert is the light whipped vanilla ganache Pavola with roasted apricot and passionfruit. A sweet finale is the house-made pistachio ice cream served with light and crumbly cranberry scones.

Every afternoon tea at Lakorn European Brasserie is served with a choice of the finest coffee beans from Italy or Mariage Frères premium tea for a perfect cuppa.  Cold-brewed tea selections are also available and can be further enhanced by a selection of additional flavorings.
