18 FEB - Five Award-Winning Chefs, One Highly Worthwhile Cause: Le Du Kaan Invites Guests to an Exclusive “10-Hands Charity Dinner”

Le Du Kaan, Bangkok’s first rooftop Thai restaurant, which is perched on the 56th floor of EA Rooftop at The Empire in the heart of the Thai capital, has always strived to elevate Thai gastronomy to new levels of excellence. Now, this innovative dining destination invites guests to discover the prodigious talent of five of Thailand’s leading chefs – and make a real difference to the lives of young people in the kingdom – with an exclusive “10-Hands Charity Dinner”.

For one night only, on February 18, 2026, Chef Ton Thitid Tassanakajohn, the doyen of Thai fine dining whose restaurants have been awarded multiple Michelin stars, and Chef Bank Chatchawan Varahajeerakul, the highly skilled head chef of Le Du Kaan, will welcome three guest chefs whose restaurants have all been recognized by the Michelin Guide: Chef Oat Nattaphon Othanawathakij of HEH, the modern Australian restaurant in Phuket, Chef Nutz Natthasak Prangthong of Sood by Chef Ton, Penang’s acclaimed Thai dining destination, and Chef Mond Suwijak Kunghae, who leads Royd, the authentic Southern Thai restaurant in Phuket.

Together, these five epicurean artists will transport discerning diners on a multi-sensory journey to four regions of Thailand – North, Northeast, East and South – with a nine-course set menu that showcases the finest local and seasonal ingredients, crafted in classic yet creative styles.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Operation Smile Thailand, which provides free, life-changing surgeries for Thai children born with cleft lips, palates and other facial deformities.

Having been greeted and seated in the stunning surroundings of Le Du Kaan, guests will be treated to a series of enticing appetizers from these five chefs. Chef Ton and Chef Bank will craft Yum Tang Kwa, a refreshing Lanna-style salad that enhances cool cucumber with a tangy, salty, and spicy sauce and aromatic herbs, while Chef Oat will present Yum Khao Pong Pla Chon Talay, a time-honored Eastern Thai snack made from puffed rice, tossed with a spicy dressing and served with sea snakehead fish. Chef Nutz then takes guests' taste buds to the rolling hills of the Northeast with Larb Ped E-San Style – a traditional salad of finely chopped duck meat, herbs and spices, before Chef Mond showcases the freshest seafood in Kaeng Som – a vibrant Southern Thai sour & spicy curried soup with Andaman squid and Phuket pineapple.

This odyssey then continues with four mouth-watering main courses. Chef Ton and Chef Bank from Le Du Kaan will reimagine an authentic Northern Thai dish, Hang Lay – an expertly-cooked beef Wellington with a rich curry sauce featuring ginger, tamarind, garlic, peanuts and palm sugar, and accompanied with young jackfruit salad. This will be followed by Chef Oat’s Gaeng Moo Cha Muang, a regional recipe from Eastern Thailand which takes premium, responsibly-sourced pork and elevates it with star gooseberries and cha muang leaves to impart a distinctive tangy flavor.

Diners can then savor Mok No Mai Moo Sam Chun, Chef Nutz’s braised pork belly with bamboo shoots, a rustic specialty from Chiang Khan, the colorful border town which lies on the banks of the Mekong River, overlooking Laos. This culinary journey concludes with Kaeng Bai Yeera Pla, Chef Mond’s take on an Andaman fish curry with Southern tree basil, which exudes a rich fragrance and a peppery, spicy flavor.

This epicurean adventure then ends on a sweet note with Khanom Kong Montblanc – a unique twist on the classic Thai dessert of Khanom Kong Kwian, which is shaped to resemble a cartwheel and traditionally enjoyed at the Sat Duan Sip festival of Southern Thailand, or at weddings elsewhere in the kingdom. Symbolizing movement or a couple’s journey, this sublime dish blends mung bean cream in a Mont Blanc style, with smoked coconut soup, crispy choux pastry, and roasted lotus seeds.

The “10-Hands Charity Dinner” will be staged on February 18, 2026, from 17:30 – 22:30 hrs. and is priced at THB 3,500++ per person (minimum of two guests per booking), with a portion of the proceeds being donated directly to Operation Smile Thailand. Advanced reservations are essential.

Perched on the 56th floor of EA Rooftop at The Empire, Le Du Kaan raises the bar for gastronomy in Bangkok by combining Chef Ton’s world-class Thai cuisine with unparalleled views across the Thai capital’s sparkling cityscape.
