Sourced from the coastal waters of Qingdao, the famous city in Shandong province on China’s eastern seaboard, Qingdao sea cucumber has a firm texture and delicate flavor that make it one of the world’s most highly-prized varieties of seafood. It is also high in protein, vitamins, and antioxidants, and has been shown to help reduce cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

This November, Chef Oscar Pun and his talented culinary team at Pagoda Chinese Restaurant will source the finest sea cucumbers from Qingdao to craft a selection of five delectable dishes that blend this premium ingredient with authentic Cantonese cooking techniques and modern elegance.

• Braised Sea Cucumber & Steamed Pork Dumplings with Whole Abalone: A luxurious dim sum plate that pairs the treasures of land and sea in one bite.
• Double-Boiled Black Chicken Broth with Sea Cucumber & Wolfberries: A restorative soup steeped in culinary tradition and herbal nutrition.
• Braised Sea Cucumber with Shanxi Millet & Chicken Sauce: A comforting northern Chinese-style dish with wholesome grains and rich, savory depth.
• Braised Sea Cucumber with Scallions & Brown Sauce: A classic recipe that highlights the sea cucumber in an indulgent umami, scallion-infused sauce.
• Braised Sea Cucumber with Sichuan Mapo Tofu: Inspired by the bold flavors of southwest China, this fusion of spicy tofu and tender sea cucumber is fiery yet refined.

The Qingdao sea cucumber promotion is available for lunch (12:00 – 14:30 hrs) and dinner (18:00 – 22:00 hrs) from November 1^st to December 5^th, 2025. Prices start from THB 980++ per dish.
