Thank you for your donations to the Australian Bushfire Appeal

AustCham Thailand is proud to announce that the Chamber, together with our members and other parts of the Australian-Thai broader community, have conducted a number of events to raise funds for the Australian Bush Fire Appeal.

These events together with direct donations received to the Chamber amounted  to 1,279,051 THB; these funds will be donated to both The Salvation Army Australia and WIRES.

Our Board of Directors and Members would like to express a sincere thank you to all the organisations and individuals who either held events or donated directly; the list of donations can be found below.

Brenton Mauriello and I plan to be in Melbourne in early March to pass on this donation directly to The Salvation Army, where we also look forward to learning more about how the funds will be used.   The Chamber will endeavor to provide periodic updates on the community rebuilds.

In addition to the contributions of AustCham members, our Australian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Allan McKinnon, has informed us the wider Thai community has been very active in their support of the appeal, and is a testament to the strong relationship that exists between both Thailand and Australian.

A sincere thank you once again from the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
