AustCham Event Conduct

Our events cater to a culturally diverse business demographic and we ask for awareness and deliberation by all present to maintain an oasis for commerce in a dynamic business environment, where people starting their business careers feel just as welcome as captains of industry.

  • We have zero tolerance for physical violence, threats, sexual harassment, racism. bullying, stalking, or conduct intended to intimidate or humiliate.
  • We do not tolerate heckling or disrupting speakers at presentations, roundtables or panels.
  • Chatham House rule applies unless otherwise indicated (feel free to share what you have heard, without identifying who said it).
  • Our venues may cut-off or refuse service to anyone perceived to be intoxicated.
  • Business casual attire applies at indoor events unless otherwise stated in the invitation.

Please contact our reception team at the event if you have a concern with behavior at an event – they will locate a board member at the event to address it.
