Holding degrees in Applied Science (Winemaking) and law, I’m a partner in the Bangkok office of the law firm Nishimura & Asahi and have been based in Thailand since 2001, working closely with multinational corporations, investors, developers, and financial institutions on transactions and strategic projects involving Thailand, Australia and other key regional markets.
My practice focuses on transactional and advisory work the infrastructure, real estate and hospitality, technology, and financial service sectors. I am regularly involved in multi‑jurisdictional matters requiring coordination between legal, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders, and am known for a pragmatic, solutions‑driven approach.
Having worked extensively with Australian, regional, and international businesses operating in Thailand and Southeast Asia, I have a strong understanding of the commercial and cultural considerations that affect cross‑border trade and investment. I am actively engaged with business leaders, professional advisors, and industry participants across the region, and regularly contribute to discussions on market entry, risk management, and governance.
I am committed to supporting the Australian business community in Thailand and strengthening ties between Australian enterprises and regional partners. Through service on the AustCham board, I seek to contribute my experience and regional perspective to promote member engagement, advocacy, and sustainable commercial growth.
