30 MAY - BAR.YARD WELCOMES BRINE AND THE CLOSET COCKTAIL BAR FOR A ONE-NIGHT-ONLY DOUBLE GUEST SHIFT
On Friday, 30 May 2026, Bar.Yard presents a special double guest shift bringing together two rising names from Thailand’s cocktail scene: Tawan Khrueasonjai, Senior Bartender of Brine, and Chinaphong “Deedo” Palasak, founder and owner of The Closet Cocktail Bar. Taking over the rooftop from 7:00 p.m. onwards, the collaboration brings Chiang Mai’s flavour-led cocktail philosophy together with the playful speakeasy energy of Ubon Ratchathani.
At Brine, cocktails are built around depth, texture, salt and umami. Inspired by feeling over fashion, the Chiang Mai bar has gained attention for its patient, flavour-first approach to modern cocktails. Meanwhile, The Closet Cocktail Bar has become Ubon Ratchathani’s first and only speakeasy, hidden behind wardrobe doors and inspired by the curiosity of what lies within a closet. Founded by Deedo, the concept transforms personal memories and everyday objects into imaginative cocktail experiences full of unexpected twists.
For the one-night-only takeover, guests can expect four exclusive cocktails priced at THB 400 each, specially created for the occasion. Highlights include Body Oil, a tropical-meets-floral mix featuring coconut oil fat-washed gin, agarwood-infused vermouth and floral shrub; Reed Diffuser, layered with pear gastrique, almond vanilla vodka and edible aromatics; Cumin Call, a smoky combination of rum, mezcal, cumin tincture and ginger brine; and Kappa Flower, a bright and aromatic blend of lemongrass and kaffir lime-infused gin finished with lotus air foam.
Set against panoramic views of Bangkok’s skyline, Bar.Yard continues to champion regional bar talent through its ongoing guest shift series, spotlighting some of the most exciting names shaping Asia’s drinking culture today.
The Brine X The Closet Cocktail Bar Double Guest Shift will take place on Saturday, 30 May 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until late at Bar.Yard, 40th floor, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok.
All prices are in THB and are subject to 10% service charge and 7% VAT.
