6 OCT - From Stay to Impact: Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park to Showcase “Sustainable Stays” with Immersive Full-Day Industry Event
Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, the landmark hotel nestled in the heart of the Thai capital, is a sustainability leader that has embedded green solutions into every aspect of its operations. Now, this pioneering property is advancing responsible hospitality in Thailand and beyond with “Sustainable Stays", a collaborative single-day event that will bring together businesses, communities, social enterprises and industry experts to explore how tourism can create real value for people, local economies and the planet.
Staged on October 6, 2026, and running under the theme “From Stay to Impact”, this immersive occasion will focus on the practical actions that turn good intentions into meaningful outcomes. A full-day program will focus on six conversations that will shape the future of hospitality, shaped by executives, entrepreneurs, and academics from across the tourism, hotel, conservation, food and MICE sectors.
The programme will explore six key themes: “The Big Picture,” translating global sustainability goals into local action; “People & Purpose,” creating meaningful social impact; “When Tourism Gives Back,” showcasing community-based tourism in Kuiburi; “Behind Every Purchase,” exploring responsible sourcing; “Taste the Change,” highlighting the role of food in driving sustainable tourism; and “Meetings that Matter,” examining sustainable meetings and events. The sessions will feature insights from leading organizations including Marriott International, WWF Thailand, TCEB, Social Enterprise Thailand, Duang Prateep Foundation, Mirror Foundation and The Cloud, alongside experts from across the industry.
Throughout the event, guests will be able to visit 45+ exhibition booths and meet the innovators who are driving the future of sustainable tourism, while also engaging with 30+ like-minded organizations and partners. This year’s edition builds on the inaugural “Sustainable Stays” forum in 2025, which attracted more than 150 attendees from across a wide range of industries.
