8-9 MAY NAWA Thai Cuisine Takeover: A Symbolic Culinary Collaboration
At the heart of the anniversary program is an exclusive culinary residency with NAWA Thai Cuisine, the one-Michelin-starred contemporary Thai restaurant whose name signifies the auspicious number nine. Notably, NAWA earned its Michelin star just nine months after opening.
From 8–10 May 2026, NAWA Thai Cuisine will present a three-night takeover at Park Hyatt Bangkok, transforming the space into an intimate dining destination that seamlessly blends gastronomy, cultural symbolism, and architectural elegance.
Guests will embark on a bespoke nine-course tasting journey inspired by the concept of “nine,” featuring refined Thai dishes such as Nam Prik Jone, Tom Yum with river prawn, and Tom Kha with crab.

12 MAY - 9th Anniversary Merit Making Ceremony to Commemorate Hotel Opening
To mark its ninth anniversary, Park Hyatt Bangkok will host a traditional Thai merit-making ceremony on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, commemorating the date of the hotel’s opening.
Nineteen Buddhist monks will lead the auspicious morning ritual, symbolizing prosperity and harmony. In-house guests are invited to observe and participate in alms giving and receive blessings as the ceremony unfolds throughout the hotel.
15 MAY - Luca Cinalli: One Night in Bangkok at Penthouse Cocktail Bar
As part of the celebrations, Penthouse Cocktail Bar welcomes Luca Cinalli, one of the world’s most respected bartenders, for a one-night-only guest shift on 15 May 2026.
Renowned for his precision, understated elegance, and expressive creativity, Cinalli will present a curated selection of signature cocktails, including a Cacao Barrel creation, a Coconut and White Miso cocktail finished with a hand-painted garnish, and theatrical à la minute preparations such as a Brûlé Turmeric and Parmesan cocktail.

Guided by Kheansee, a renowned oil-on-canvas studio, guests will create their own artwork inspired by pieces displayed throughout the hotel, including Naga, Scholar’s Rock, and Pagoda Mirage. The experience includes two glasses of Ruinart Champagne and a selection of curated canapés, and is limited to six guests for an intimate setting.
