Ambassador Allan McKinnon discusses potential collaboration with Thailand's Minister of Transportation

Previous Next Australia and Thailand partner for regional connectivity. On 24 March 2021, Ambassador Allan McKinnon paid a courtesy call on Thailand’s Minister of Transport, Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, to discuss potential collaboration, as Thailand’s infrastructure priorities.Ambassador McKinnon outlined Australia’s “Partnership for Infrastructure -P4I, the governments flagship infrastructure initiative for Southeast Asia with the hub located in Thailand, and discussed how P4I could complement the existing partnership between Australia and Thailand. The meeting between Ambassador McKinnon and Minister Saksayam highlighted the importance of the multi-sectoral strategic partnership between our two countries.
