Message From Chamber - November 2025
Dear AustCham Members,
November was another busy and productive month for the Chamber, with strong engagement across our business community and a solid lineup of events that supported both professional connection and member wellbeing.
A great event at the Pullman G, with meat, fruit and veg being supplied by CP Axtra, the lamb was definitely the hit of the night, a big thanks to CP Axtra for their support. We also continued our focus on wellbeing with “A Morning for Men’s Health,” held in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT). This session created an important platform for open conversation around men’s health—an area that resonates across industries and leadership levels. It was encouraging to see strong participation and genuine engagement from members who recognise the importance of balancing business performance with personal wellbeing.
Kicking Off December
We’ve now moved into December with significant momentum, beginning with our End-of-Year Christmas Reception at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Before the reception, we hosted an insightful Mentors Briefing, featuring a high-caliber panel: Brenton Mauriello AM, Advance Australia Council – Moderator, Yvonne Foo ANZ Bank Thailand, Wayne Williams Minor Hotels, Matt Cutt BDO. Their reflections on Thailand’s operating landscape, shifting regional dynamics, and organisational resilience have provided valuable context as we look ahead to 2026.
The Christmas Reception that followed was a fantastic celebration of our community. It was a warm, well-attended evening that showcased the strength of AustCham’s network and the spirit that has carried us through another challenging year.
Reflecting on 2025
This has been a year of significant change for Thailand. Businesses have navigated geopolitical uncertainty, tariff pressures, and environmental shocks, including earthquakes—factors that have impacted organisations of every size, from SMEs to large corporates. Yet despite these challenges, our members have demonstrated remarkable resilience, adaptability and unity.
Throughout the year, the Chamber has worked hard to provide connection, support and opportunities for our members to remain informed, engaged and aligned with the fast-moving business environment.
A Time to Recharge
As we move further into December, this is an important moment to pause and reflect on everything we have experienced in 2025. It has been a challenging period for many, but also a year that highlighted the strength of our community. We hope all of you will take the opportunity to rest, recharge and spend time with family and loved ones over the holiday period.
Looking Forward
Planning is already underway for a strong 2026 program built around our core pillars of Business, Connections, and Community. We are grateful for your feedback and engagement throughout 2025, which continues to guide our priorities for the year ahead.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the AustCham Operations Team, thank you for your support, commitment and contribution throughout the year. We wish you a very Merry Christmas, a happy and safe New Year, and we look forward to reconnecting with you in 2026.
Warm regards,

Jon Cannon
Vice President, AustCham Thailand
