A delegation from the Thai Department of Agriculture recently visited Australia to get a better insight into our biosecurity operations and detector dog capability and training. The Biosecurity Operations team in Sydney showcased Australia’s world-class biosecurity processes, Sydney kennelling facility and the dogs in operation at the airport and mail facility. They also travelled to Brisbane to spend a day with our National Detector Dog trainers, learning about the innovative approaches our trainers take to continually refine and modernise detector dog capability.
