Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok turns Ms.Jigger into a passport-free tour of Europe's oldest wine countries. On Friday, 21 August 2026, Ms.Jigger hosts the Roam Around Europe Wine Fair from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., inviting guests to taste their way through Spain, France, Germany and Italy, four nations whose winemaking traditions stretch back centuries and still shape how the world drinks today.
Rather than a seated tasting with assigned pours, the evening runs on instinct. Each ticketed guest receives a glass at the door, then charts their own course across eight stations set up around Ms.Jigger, each pouring a different wine, moving between them at whatever pace curiosity demands. Team members are stationed throughout to pour, share tasting notes and answer questions.
From Spain comes a traditional-method Cava and a structured Rioja red; from France's Loire Valley, a crisp Sauvignon Blanc-driven white and a Cabernet Franc red; from Germany's Pfalz region, a Riesling from a wine-growing area with roots dating back to Roman times; and from Italy, an amber-hued orange wine out of Friuli alongside a Chianti Classico and a rare Aglianico from Campania. Between them, the eight pours span sparkling, white, orange and red styles, a deliberate spread that shows how differently four countries have interpreted the same craft over hundreds of years.
A food spread runs throughout the evening for guests to graze on between pours, while DJ Ali Gerami keeps a live set running in the background. Any bottle that wins a guest over can be taken further, purchased on the spot at special event pricing, by the glass or the bottle.
