27 APR - BAR.YARD WELCOMES THE ENIGMA MANSION FROM HO CHI MINH CITY FOR A ONE-NIGHT GUEST SHIFT EXPERIENCE
(21 April 2026 – Bangkok, Thailand) — Bar.Yard at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok invites cocktail enthusiasts to experience an evening of boundary-pushing mixology as The Enigma Mansion from Ho Chi Minh City takes over the bar for a special one-night guest shift on Monday, 27 April 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until late.
Bringing the spirit of one of Vietnam’s most exciting cocktail destinations to Bangkok, the guest shift will be led by Bar Manager Thong Hoai “Tee”, showcasing a curated selection of inventive cocktails in collaboration with spirit partner Nakin Gin.

Now housed within a restored French villa in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, The Enigma Mansion offers an experimental cocktail experience that blends heritage with modern sophistication. Meet the Bartender: Thong Hoai “Tee”
With nearly a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, Thong Hoai “Tee” brings a unique perspective shaped by his journey from the kitchen to behind the bar. Beginning his career as a cook in a private club in Ho Chi Minh City, Tee later transitioned into mixology, driven by a passion for creating memorable experiences through drinks.
His background across diverse culinary and bar concepts, from American and Japanese to French, informs his signature style: a balance of classic foundations and modern techniques. At The Enigma Mansion, Tee leads the bar programme with a focus on crafting cocktails that feel both innovative and familiar, delivering stories in every glass.
His achievements include winning the Don Julio Challenge – World Class Vietnam 2023, ranking among the Top 8 World Class Bartender Vietnam 2023 and contributing to the bar’s recognition on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list.
One Night Only at Bar.Yard
Set against sweeping views of the Bangkok skyline, Bar.Yard provides the perfect backdrop for this one-night-only collaboration. Known for its vibrant rooftop atmosphere, the venue continues to spotlight leading talents from across the region through its guest shift series.
Guests can explore a specially curated cocktail menu by Tee, featuring four distinctive creations including Dracontomelon with Vietnamese dracontomelon, genmaicha, goat milk and pennywort; Beetroot layered with tamarind, jasmine and parmesan; Strawberry blending strawberry whey, koji water and cacao wine; and Rice, a savoury-forward mix of red rice, miso and passionfruit bitters. Each cocktail is priced at THB 400.
The Enigma Mansion Guest Shift will take place on Monday, 27 April 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until late at Bar.Yard, 40th floor, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok.
