Celebrated Worldwide. Built for the Future A decade of excellence: from founding in 2016 to top 100 in the world in 2026
Brighton College Bangkok is honoured to be included in the Spear's Schools Index 2026, recognised as one of the 100 leading private schools in the world, and one of only two schools in Thailand to receive this distinction.
The Spear's Schools Index is among the most rigorous and respected evaluations of private school excellence globally, assessing schools across academic outcomes, pastoral care, co-curricular provision and the breadth of opportunity offered to pupils. To be named alongside institutions with centuries of history, and to do so as a school entering only its second decade, is a recognition that speaks to the remarkable pace and quality of Brighton College Bangkok's development. It reflects a school that has not simply grown in size, but has grown in character, ambition and reputation.

Three Years of Awards and Recognition
This recognition belongs above all to the pupils, whose curiosity, resilience and energy are at the heart of everything the College does, and to its outstanding staff, whose dedication and care create the conditions for every pupil to flourish. The College is equally grateful to its parents and wider community, whose trust and partnership shape Brighton College Bangkok into the place it is today.
This accolade also arrives at a moment of particular significance. Over the past three years, Brighton College Bangkok has been recognised as British International School of the Year, Best International School in Thailand, and now among the Spear's Top 100 Schools Worldwide. Taken together, these accolades trace a school on a clear and confident upward trajectory - one that is earning its place not just regionally, but on the world stage.
Gratitude is extended to everyone who is part of this story.

Landmark Investment to Mark 10-Year Anniversary
As Brighton College Bangkok celebrates its 10th Anniversary, the College proudly announces the most significant phase of investment in its history since its founding - an ambitious, forward-thinking programme designed to enhance every aspect of pupil life and learning.
This milestone reflects the College's continued commitment to excellence, innovation and holistic education, ensuring that pupils benefit from world-class facilities that inspire curiosity, creativity and kindness.
At the heart of this development is the introduction of a striking new Olympic-standard blue athletics track, providing pupils with a professional-level environment to train, compete and develop a lifelong love of sport. This facility further strengthens the College's reputation for sporting excellence and complements its already outstanding provision.
In the Early Years, a thoughtfully designed sensory room is being created to support the youngest learners, offering a calming, stimulating environment that nurtures development, wellbeing and emotional regulation.
The Prep School will also see significant enhancement, including the full refurbishment of the library into a vibrant, modern learning hub that fosters a love of reading and independent inquiry. Meanwhile, new play equipment in Key Stage 2 will enrich the outdoor experience, encouraging active play, collaboration and imagination.

Excellence All Round
Academic provision will be further strengthened through the addition of new science laboratories, classrooms and dedicated computer suites, ensuring pupils are equipped with the tools and environments needed to thrive in an increasingly digital and scientific world.
Sustainability and student wellbeing are central to this investment. The installation of additional solar panels reinforces the College's commitment to environmental responsibility, while a cutting-edge positive pressure air filtration system will enhance air quality across the campus, supporting a healthier learning environment for all.
In the Senior School, the introduction of new House rooms will provide dedicated spaces that strengthen the sense of belonging and community at the core of the College's ethos. Alongside this, significant upgrades to Drama and Music facilities, including new equipment and resources, will further enrich the performing arts, enabling pupils to explore and express their talents to the highest level.
This transformative phase of development reflects not only a celebration of the past decade, but also a bold investment in the future. As Brighton College Bangkok enters its second decade, it does so with a clear vision: to remain at the forefront of British international education, providing an exceptional environment where every pupil can thrive.
