These premium prawns are sustainably sourced from the Urak Lawoi community in Koh Lanta, Krabi province, who still use traditional, small-scale fishing practices. At Pagoda Chinese Restaurant, Chef Oscar Pun has carefully selected the finest prawns to craft four special dishes, ranging from bold Sichuan flavors to time-honored Cantonese styles.
Guests can choose from the following dishes:
Sichuan-style Prawns with Crispy Mantou – A fiery and flavorful creation enhanced with homemade Sichuan, shallots, and scallions, served alongside golden-fried mantou.
Clay Pot Prawns with Glass Noodles and Garlic – Experience the comforting aroma and rich taste of prawns baked in a traditional clay pot.
Wok-fried Prawns with Three-Color Peppers – A fragrant wok-tossed dish with vibrant colors and a peppery kick.
Wok-fried Prawns with Chef Oscar’s Signature Sauce – Stir-fried with scallions and dried chilies, finished with Chef Oscar’s exclusive sauce for an irresistible flavor.
King banana prawns promotion is available for lunch (12:00 – 14:30 hrs) and dinner (18:00 – 22:00 hrs) from 1st to January 31st, 2026. Price at THB 1,288++ per dish.
