SIX YEARS, ONE SCOOP: KIMPTON MAA-LAI BANGKOK AND 4 PAWS & A PAIR SERVE UP AN ANNIVERSARY TREAT FOR DOGS
Custom dog ice cream flavour "Tok Tok Treat" celebrates a partnership that began in 2020, when a dog-friendly day out in Bangkok was still a rarity

At Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, pets have always been part of the family, and when it's time to celebrate, everyone is invited. To mark its sixth anniversary, the hotel has teamed up with 4 Paws & A Pair, a partner since day one, to launch “Tok Tok Treat”, an exclusive dog ice cream flavour available only at CRAFT, the hotel's lobby-level café and social hub.
A WAG TO SHARED VALUES
"Pet-friendliness is one of our key brand pillars," says Patrick Both, General Manager of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok. "Bill Kimpton, our founder, had a dog who was part of his family, and that's how we treat pets at Kimpton hotels all over the world."
Developed in close collaboration between the partners, “Tok Tok Treat” was designed to be, in the words of 4 Paws & A Pair Co-Founder Prang Lerttaweewit, "a taste of Kimpton for the dogs of Kimpton," full of character, hearty and warm.
Each ingredient was chosen to suit the occasion: Goat milk as a gentle base, duck liver for the savoury reward and brown butter adding toasty depth. As the final touch, popped khao tok, the puffed rice used in auspicious Thai ceremonies, brings crunch while representing the heartfelt welcome extended to pet guests, much like the floral garland that the hotel is named after. Like every 4 Paws & A Pair ice cream, it is made only with human-grade ingredients and no added sugar. Every cup of “Tok Tok Treat” comes with a custom-designed lid and an inner sticker featuring the friendly face of "Mali", the hotel's pet-programme mascot.
"We want people to leave each visit to CRAFT thinking, 'I had such a good day, and so did my dog,'" says Lerttaweewit.

PERFECT FOR POOCHES
“Tok Tok Treat” was launched on 1 October 2026 at an invite-only gathering at CRAFT Terrace with Bangkok's pet KOLs and hotel regulars, two- and four-legged, who have made Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok part of their routine. Many are known to the team by name, usually the dog's first.
This new flavour joins CRAFT's ever-growing pet programme. Dogs and other furry, feathered or scaly friends are welcome from morning coffee to evening, with a dedicated pet menu, ample space and lush garden views of the Urban Oasis. The Doggy Ice Cream Happy Hour, runs daily from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., with ‘Buy 1, Get 1 Free’ for the classic 4 Paws & A Pair dog ice cream flavours on offer (excluding “Tok Tok Treat”) until further notice. The calendar of pet-focused events with partners, from meet-ups to community gatherings, will expand in 2027. Beyond CRAFT, Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok opens its doors to pets of all sizes and breeds in its rooms, serviced residences and shared spaces, just beside Lumpini Park.
"We are part of the pet community, and we want to continue to build on this," says Both. "We're always looking for new experiences for our guests and their pets. Stay tuned."
“Tok Tok Treat” is available exclusively at CRAFT from 1 October 2026 at THB 260++ per cup. For enquiries, please call +66 (0)2 056 9999 or visit www.kimptonmaalaibangkok.com/bangkok-restaurants/craft/.
