This limited-time offering by Akira Back Bangkok features three exceptional dishes that harmonize Akira Back’s signature fusion of innovation and tradition. Each creation highlights the purity and freshness of wild-caught fish such as shimaaji (striped jack), madai (red sea bream), kan buri (winter yellowtail), hirame (olive flounder), hamachi (Japanese amberjack), and tai (Japanese sea bream).
Guests can discover a wonderfully fresh and light Kan Buri Carpaccio (THB 780++), thin slices of winter yellowtail enhanced with aji amarillo ponzu, a vibrant sauce that blends the fruity heat of Peruvian chili with a Japanese citrus-soy tang, accented by pickled garlic and sweet onion salsa.
Alternatively, Grilled Sea Bream (THB 1,250++) showcases succulent madai, which is grilled to perfection and complemented by crisp baby romaine and a zesty yuzu-kosho mayo. This delectable dish is finished with a bold kimchi glaze to create the perfect blend of smoky, tangy and spicy notes.
For true seafood lovers, the Wild Sashimi Platter (THB 1,850++) promises a luxurious selection of the ocean’s finest hirame, hamachi, tai, and shimaaji – hand-cut by Akira Back’s sushi experts to highlight the quality and natural sweetness of the fish, and served with freshly grated wasabi.
These three specialty dishes will be available from January 9th - February 28th, 2026. Akira Back Bangkok is open daily for dinner (17.30 – 23.00 hrs.) and lunch from Thursday – Sunday (12.00 – 14.30 hrs).
