Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok welcomes FOBISIA CEO John Gwyn Jones MBE

Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok welcomed John Gwyn Jones MBE, CEO of FOBISIA (The Federation of British International Schools in Asia), to the school on Tuesday 11th August 2026.
 

The visit followed an earlier meeting between John Gwyn Jones MBE and Jason Beilby - Head of External Affairs and Corporate Partnerships at Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok.
 

John participated in a discussion with Founding Executive Head Fiona Angel, Director of Education Tig Mooney, Director of Sport Simon Atkinson, and Assistant Head Boarding and Safeguarding Rachel Ibbotson as well as touring the 66-acre site.
 

The discussions provided an opportunity to share more about the development of Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok and to exchange perspectives on the future of British international education in Thailand and across Asia.
 

The visit also highlighted the growing connections between the school and the wider FOBISIA community as Wycombe Abbey International School Bangkok continues to establish its presence within Thailand’s international education sector.
