Savor the Finest Australian Black Opal Wagyu Beef at Goji Kitchen + Bar

Bangkok, Thailand, 29 April 2025 – Goji Kitchen + Bar, the vibrant international culinary marketplace at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting meat lovers to enjoy unforgettable dining experiences this May, as it presents the finest Black Opal wagyu beef from Harmony Agriculture & Food Co., the multi-award-winning Australian producer.

Created from a cross of Wagyu and Angus cattle, Black Opal is Harmony’s flagship beef brand, famed for its fine marbling, silky texture and superior flavor. From May 16th to 25th, 2025, the talented chefs at Goji Kitchen + Bar will showcase this exceptional product with a choice of Premium Grill steaks, including dry-aged prime rib of beef, dry-age bone-in sirloin, and whole rump steaks, all cooked to perfection on the restaurant’s signature Parilla Grill to seal in the meat’s fantastic flavor.

Diners can also discover the Best Steak Tartare in Town, with two versions of this highly prized appetizer. A classic recipe features finely chopped Black Opal wagyu beef with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, cornichons, capers, shallots and an egg yolk, while the Asian-inspired steak tartare will blend the tender wagyu beef with Asian spices, horseradish cream, and egg yolk jam. Finally, a dedicated live station will serve succulent Beef Sliders, crafted with wagyu beef, silky-smooth foie gras, truffle and kabayaki sauce for the ultimate comfort food, elevated to new levels of culinary excellence.

The special Black Opal delights will take pride of place at Goji Kitchen + Bar’s international weekday and weekend buffet dinners, Saturday lunches, and two editions of its famous Sunday brunch, on May 16th & 25th. These delicacies will be presented alongside a wide range of dishes from around the world, including a sumptuous selection of seafood on ice, freshly-shucked oysters, sushi and sashimi, premium cheeses and imported cold cuts, including hand-sliced Iberico ham.

Transporting diners’ taste buds from East to West, an Asian live station will feature tom yum seafood soup, homemade dim sum, fish maw soup, Thai seafood salad, and a live som tum station, plus grilled river prawns and Peking duck for Sunday brunch, while Western-style dishes will include pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, grilled Australian lamb rack, pork belly with crispy crackling, a live pasta station, and whole-baked salt crust salmon. This May, guests can also experience authentic Greek cuisine at the Mediterranean Corner.

And of course, every lunch, brunch or dinner can end on a sweet note with a variety of Thai and international desserts, including cakes, mousses, pastries, ice creams, and mango sticky rice.
