Australian Embassy Donates to The Mercy Centre Bangkok

Source: Australian Embassy Thailand Facebook

Australian Ambassador to Thailand Allan McKinnon visited The Mercy Centre Bangkok in Khlong Toey to deliver a THB150,000 from the Australian Embassy’s social club.

The Mercy Centre does crucial work supporting children in need; providing shelter, education, healthcare advocacy and other support to many thousands of kids.

The Australian Embassy has a long running partnership with the Mercy Centre, including funding the construction of solar panels under our Direct Aid Program in 2016. We look forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of children in Bangkok’s slums.
