20 MAR – Investing in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam: Navigating Competition

Wednesday, March 20, 2024

Emerging markets such as Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam have seen strong economic growth and development in recent years, attracting substantial foreign investment and fostering dynamic business environments. As large local and international businesses have begun to establish a significant market presence in these jurisdictions, governments and regulators have adopted and implemented new competition and merger control regimes to ensure fair market practices, and to promote healthy competition, which will ultimately yield benefits to consumers. As these countries continue to integrate into the global economy, it is increasingly important for both local and international investors to have a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate national competition laws.

To unpack these complex regulatory landscapes, legal experts from Tilleke & Gibbins in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam will join forces with the International Chamber of Commerce – Thailand, the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA), and VA Partners to offer a webinar entitled, “Investing in Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam: Navigating Competition and Merger Control Laws”
