Thursday, May 23, 2024

The District Grill Room & Bar at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, in collaboration with Concha y Toro, invites you to a gastronomic journey celebrating the rich traditions and flavors of Chilean cuisine and wine.

To mark this special occasion, we are honored to welcome Isabel Mitarakis, a member of the Guilisasti family, who holds a significant role in Concha y Toro’s legacy and its presence in both the Chilean and Asian markets.

The evening’s culinary journey, curated by Executive Chef Frederik Farina and The District Head Chef Pikul Bunsak, will commence with an exquisite pairing of Oysters and Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc 2021 from Los Boldos vineyard, renowned for its delicate freshness and minerality. This will be followed by Stewed Snail Risotto paired with Concha y Toro Master Edition Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, offering a well-structured wine with notes of cherries, blackberries, cedar, and a hint of smoke. Braised Iberico Pork Cheek served with Terrunyo Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 will captivate with its elegant herbal tones.

Highlighting the menu is Wagyu Ox Tongue paired with Marques de Casa Concha Heritage – Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, carrying significant historical weight and deeply rooted in the Concha y Toro legacy. The wine journey culminates with Short Ribs served with Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 vintage, presenting deep violet color, intense aromas, and a velvety texture with a persistent finish.

This exclusive event will take place on Thursday, 23rd May 2024, at The District Grill Room & Bar at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit, promising an evening of unparalleled dining and the finest wines from one of the world’s most admired wine brands.
