Message From Chamber – October 2021

Brendan 1

“Dear Austcham Members and Friends,

Greetings from your Chamber! We start with good news, that the restrictions on events continues to ease and we are delighted to announce that our return Bangkok Sundowners event will be held soon.

While the situation appears to be ever improving, AustCham Thailand will continue to keep members and the community updated on what is happening with government announcements both in Thailand and Australia, and encourage you to stay in touch with our COVID-19 page as a reliable source of information or, as always, contact the Chamber for advice.

Our CARE Package drive has now hit over 2,000 boxes donated and we plan one last push in November with the help of our friends at the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT). We once again would like to express a sincere ‘thank you’ to all who have donated to the COVID-19 CARE Package project.

Other highlights in November to look forward to are our return Bangkok Business Briefing with Gold Sponsor Bangkok Hospital on the topic “Get a Move On: How to prepare yourself for physical impact of COVID-19” on Wednesday 3rd November at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, we continue our Phuket events with a Business Briefing and Sundowners at Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort on Wednesday 10th November, and at SAii Laguna Phuket on Friday 26th November.

Plus for the outdoor types, a reminder that the BevChain 2021 AustCham Golf Tournament will be held on Friday 12th November at The Vintage Golf Club.

Finally, in our Member Corner, we are delighted to welcome three new members to the Chamber, and look forward to working with them on business and professional growth. We also continue to feature articles from our members below – if you would like to contribute to our Thought Leadership blog, please reach out to us!

Wishing you a successful month of November ahead!”
