Bangkok, Thailand, April 22, 2025 – Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, the landmark hotel nestled in the commercial heart of the Thai capital, has been certified by the Green Leaf Foundation for its ongoing dedication to eco-friendly operations and environmental sustainability.
The Green Leaf Programs, officially launched in late 1997 by the Green Leaf Foundation, are committed to assessing and promoting sustainable practices within the hospitality industry. Participating hotels are evaluated by experts using a comprehensive eco-checklist that covers all aspects of the property’s operations, including carbon emissions, water usage, waste management, and more.
The overall aim is to raise environmental awareness in the hospitality sector, encourage efficient resource usage, and foster responsible practices to support the long-term growth of sustainable tourism in Thailand.
One of the largest hotels in the country, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park features 1,388 guest rooms and more than 30 meeting and event spaces, including three ballrooms. Sustainability plays an integral role in the success of the hotel, and it has integrated eco-friendly solutions into every aspect of its operations. The hotel also champions local culture and community projects. This aligns with Marriott International’s “Serve 360” sustainability and social impact platform, which is dedicated to Doing Good in Every Direction.
Following its Green Leaf audit, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park was proud to achieve “3 Leaves”, which reflects the hotel’s continued commitment to blending world-class hospitality with environmental sustainability to create exceptional guest experiences.
