Connexus Global – Global Hires New Managing Director Peter Fitzroy

Connexus Global – a leading value chain recruitment and executive search firm – has hired Peter Fitzroy to be the new Managing Director of their Bangkok office.

Bangkok, Thailand, September 2022 – Connexus Global – a leading global value chain recruitment and executive search firm with offices in Bangkok, Singapore, and London – has hired Peter Fitzroy to be the new Managing Director of their Bangkok office. 

Fitzroy joins Connexus Global with nearly two decades of experience in recruitment. He began his recruitment career in the UK in 2003 before moving to Bangkok in 2009 to join PRTR, one of Thailand’s largest recruitment and outsourcing businesses, as their Business Manager for Executive Recruitment. His stellar performance led to him being promoted to Director in 2011, and he subsequently helped the company achieve significant growth during his tenure. Fitzroy’s most recently comes from the highly reputed global executive search firm, Korn Ferry.

“Connexus Global is an outstanding organisation with talented people and a fantastic leadership team,” said Fitzroy. “It’s an honour to join their operational board and to be put in a position to help Connexus reach their ambitious growth plans over the coming years. I’m really looking forward to taking on this new challenge and I’m excited to meet the team and start making an impact.” 

With Fitzroy as Managing Director, former Regional Director, James Egremont will be moving into a new role as the company’s Global Head of People in the new year once the succession plan and onboarding is complete. 

“Peter’s experience, skill set, demeanour, and track record of success make him ideally poised to take Connexus Global Bangkok office to the next phase of its growth,” said Egremont. “With Peter taking the lead with the existing team and client-facing activities, this will enable me to focus all my efforts on growing the business globally, primarily through talent attraction, employee engagement, learning and development, and creating the best possible working environment we can give our people.”  

Since 2019, Connexus Global has gone from strength to strength. The company thrived throughout the pandemic, and in May 2022 opened a new office in London, led by Managing Director – Commodities & Renewables, Ed Gelling. With a strong foothold in both Asia Pacific and Europe, the table is set for the company’s plans to expand into North America in 2023.

“Having Peter on our leadership team is another piece of the puzzle to begin the next phase of our journey,” said Egremont. “From day one, we’ve helped each of our clients find the right leaders to transform traditional product value chains.
