Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, the stylish boutique hotel amid the green lungs of Bangkok, treats foodies with stellar dishes from Singapore by Chef Shen Tan in a special 5-course Mod-Sin (modern Singaporean) dinner set for two nights only on 22nd and 23rd October at Stock.Room.

The director-turned-hawker-turned chef is taking her renowned culinary skills that blend local Singaporean flavours with modern flair to Bangkok and transforming the gastronomic experience like never before. Chef Shen Tan spends the majority of her celebrated career exploring Singaporean and Southeast Asian flavors, creating and reinterpreting regional dishes with fresh, interesting perspectives.

The 5-course Mod-Sin pop-up dinner includes sensational gourmet dishes such as Mee Siam Ceviche with Hokkaido scallop, grouper, pineapple and mee siam rempah; Michael Jackson Carrot Cake in black and white with prawns and scallops; aPORKalypse Nasi Lemak with five-spice pork confit; Orh-Nee You with deep-fried fine rice vermicelli, freshly-made taro dumpling and coconut ice cream; and Krusty Dessert, crab-and-mango cigars with lime lychee sorbet, salted egg yolk ice cream and grated salted egg yolk.
