Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, the luxury and lifestyle Langsuan landmark, is adding a spicy accent to its next “El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch,” the monthly celebration of Latin America’s vibrant flavours and colourful culture in Stock.Room. For Cinco de Mayo, 5 May 2024, Stock.Room partners up with aCholos, the authentic LA-Mexican food truck-inspired dining concept, to serve up tasty tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, burritos and more to diners.
Founded by talented Chef Radek Zarebinski, former sous chef at two Michelin Star restaurants, and hotel and restaurant creator Ratish Sachathamakul, Cholos combines the best of Mexican cuisine with the energy and excitement of this Asian City of Angels.
Cholos’ pop-up will feature mouthwatering delights like grilled elotes corn cobs with chipotle mayo and house-made cotija cheese, hand-pressed tortillas, “loaded” nachos, decadent beef birria, hearty chicken tinga and classic Baja fish tacos.
Both Executive Chef Lamberto Valdez Lara and the team behind Cholos will share the fare that is a tribute to Latin American cuisine. The El Sabor de Kimpton brunch will still feature the Mayan-Caribbean section, Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine and Mexican hallmarks, including regional favourites from Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas from the South Pacific coast. Also featured are Boliveria street foods, Brazilian highlights and the astonishing culinary landscape of the Argentine-Italian meat scene with fine beef cuts and charcuterie like chorizo Argentino, bresaola, lyoner and salchicha parrillera.
The El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch is a full sensory experience embracing the sensational Latin energy, with a DJ, and four-piece live band.
The special Cinco De Mayo El Sabor de Kimpton Brunch takes place 5 May 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Stock.Room. Guests can choose from three packages: THB 2,500 per adult, including unlimited food and soft drinks; THB 3,500 per adult including unlimited alcoholic beverages as well; and THB 1,250 per child under 12 years old, including unlimited food and soft drinks.
