Goji Kitchen + Bar, the international culinary marketplace at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, will continue its gastronomic tour of Italy this month, as it presents the finest Venetian cuisine at its popular weekend buffets and brunches.
Stretching over 1,000km from the snow-capped peaks of the Alps to the sun-soaked shores of the Mediterranean, Italy is a wonderfully diverse country, and this is reflected in its cuisine. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening and Saturday and Sunday brunch throughout 2022, the expert chefs at Goji Kitchen + Bar are showcasing traditional delicacies from different regions of Italy.
This month, the epicurean adventure moves to Venice, the enchanting “floating city” which is famous for its labyrinthine network of canals, gondola water taxis, exquisite architecture and waterside ristorantes.
In April and May, chefs will create an artisanal menu that features many famous Venetian dishes. Diners can savor authentic antipasti including local burrata & marinated roasted eggplant, and 24-month prosciutto with fresh figs and balsamic reduction, plus a classic risotto of risi e bisi with roasted pancetta, spring peas, pesto and parmesan.
Surrounded by water, Venice is famous for its fresh seafood and the talented culinary team at Goji Kitchen + Bar will also be serving several dishes that embrace the finest frutti di mare. These include fresh bigoli pasta with clams and black squid ink sauce, a pescatore pizza with salted cod, grilled polenta and creamy codfish, and seppia alla grilla – grilled whole cuttlefish with sweet & sour sauce and radicchio.
For dessert, diners can choose from a classic tiramisu, fritole alla Veneziana (mini fried donuts with raisins), and Italian gelato with biscotti.
The Venetian Adventure promotion is available every weekend from 1st April until 29th May 2022, as part of Goji Kitchen + Bar’s vibrant weekend buffets, Saturday lunch and Sunday Brunch.
