Named after the Thai word for “flower,” Bu-Nga draws inspiration from Khao Yum, the vibrant Southern Thai rice salad, known for its colorful blend of blue pea flower-infused rice, herbs, toasted coconut, and dried shrimp with tangy-sweet Nam Budu dressing. This refreshing cocktail captures those bold flavors using locally sourced ingredients, repurposed Thai herbs from the kitchen, and sustainably caught local silver fish. Finished with fresh flowers from the resort’s herb garden, Bu-Nga is nature in a glass—delicious, fragrant, and intentionally crafted.


For a more laid-back experience, Sand Box Beachfront Bar and Eatery offers true toes-in-the-sand dining, serving up fresh dishes against the backdrop of Mai Khao’s pristine beach.
