Transport Your Taste Buds to Southern Thailand with Siam Tea Room’s “A Taste of Tropical South”

Siam Tea Room at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting you to take your taste buds on a culinary journey of discovery to Southern Thailand this October and November, with its new “A Taste of Tropical South” seasonal menu.

Our talented Thai sous chef, Phukvarun Watchmon, has created a mouth-watering new menu that features some of the most delicious dishes from the Kingdom’s spectacular southern province, showcasing the fresh flavors of the tropical seas, including locally-caught produce.

A total of eight delectable dishes are available in the Southern Food Fiesta, including crab roe chili dip with boiled egg & organic Thai vegetables, Southernstyle herbal rice salad with fresh tender leaves, fluffy fish & fermented fish dressing, stirfried prawns with sato, chili, garlic & shrimp paste and Songkhlastyle braised pork belly in sweet soya sauce. Two sublime soups are available: Southernstyle sour soup with fish organs & fresh vegetables, and coconut paco soup with sea prawns, chili & shallots.

Diners can end their Southern Thai feast in style with a divine dessert of Thai-style coconut pancakes.

A Taste of Tropical South menu can be enjoyed from 1 October to 30 November 2021 at Siam Tea Room from 09.00 – 20.00 hrs. This special menu selection is available for dine-in only. Dishes start from just THB 240++.
