Sirimahannop, the reimagined Thai tall ship and refined dining destination, is inviting couples to celebrate their love in style with a romantic six-course dinner overlooking the shimmering Chao Phraya, Thailand’s “River of Kings”.
In this stunning waterside setting, as the sun sets and casts colorful reflections on the rippling waves, guests will be welcomed aboard with two welcome cocktails and treated to a sensational set menu that showcases some of the world’s finest flavors and freshest ingredients, prepared to perfection by Sirimahannop’s culinary experts.
This sublime six-course menu for sharing will transport diners on a global gastronomic voyage that celebrates Sirimahannop’s historic voyages between Thailand and Europe, and the ports of call in between. The journey commences with a Half-Dozen Oysters (Chef’s Choice), freshly-shucked and served with lemon, seafood sauce and pineapple mignonette, followed by House-Cured Dill Salmon with avocado & pomelo salad, spicy tomato & basil dressing, tobiko and tom yam crackers.
Couples will then be presented with a pair of delectable dishes: Norwegian Tea-Smoked Duck Breast with salt-baked beets, baby spinach, roasted hazelnuts and lingonberry compote, and a mouth-watering Pan-Fried Atlantic Halibut Steak, served with lightly curried sour cream sauce with mussels, pink shrimp & green apple. The main course will then feature a Baked Pork Chop on the Bone, marinated in Thai-style nam prik pao and served with Danish potato salad.
This enchanting evening will conclude with Cherry Tart with berry compote and fresh whipping cream, and every couple will be given a Polaroid photo of their evening – a wonderful memento of an unforgettable occasion!
Available daily from now until 30th December 2023 (16.00 – 22.30 hrs), the “Romantic Dinner By The River” is priced at THB 2,900++ per couple (including two glasses of welcome cocktails).
