Join Michelin-starred Chef Bruno Menard for an epicurean journey paired with Chilean wines at Madison on Friday 9 March 2018.
Hailing from France, Chef Bruno was destined for a career in hospitality, with his father making a name as a chocolatier and his sister running a hotel in Paris. He was passionate about food from a young age and developed his craft at many restaurants around the globe, garnering recognition for his cooking at The Dining Room at The Ritz Carlton in Atlanta, amongst other US restaurants.
In 2008, Menard’s restaurant L’Osier in Tokyo gained three Michelin stars at once, the highest recognition awarded by the guide. Since then, Chef Bruno has also been a judge on MasterChef Asia and is President of Bocuse D’Or Pacific, the most prestigious food competition in the world.
Distinguished Chilean Vintners
For this exclusive evening, Chef Bruno’s food will be paired with the finest vintages from the Concha Y Toro vineyards of Chile. This notable winemaker is a leading brand that is keen on innovation. Diners can enjoy selected wines such as the Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Shiraz, Trio from Maipo Valley 2015 with their meal.
A Gastronomic Delight
Delight in four courses of delicious food including a lightly poached salmon coated with herbal jelly and horseradish Chantilly, expertly paired with a 2017 Sauvignon Blanc, Sendero, from the Central Valley; and Wagyu beef tenderloin with foie gras carrot flan, Cassis and onion chutney cocoa vinegar, and hibiscus oil.
This once-off event takes place in Madison Steakhouse from 6.30 pm on Friday 9 March 2018. It is priced at THB 4,900++ per person for the four-course menu with wine pairing (Price is subject to 10% service charge and 7% government tax.)
